Operation Life Support is dedicated to saving lives through comprehensive harm reduction initiatives in Polk County. We offer a range of vital resources, including free naloxone (Narcan) for reversing opioid overdoses, fentanyl test strips (FTS) to help individuals test their substances for dangerous fentanyl, and Plan B for emergency contraception. Our mission is to ensure that these life-saving tools are accessible to those who need them most.

To reach our community effectively, we organize pop-up events throughout Polk County, where individuals can receive these resources at no cost. These events provide a safe space for education, support, and connection, empowering community members to make informed choices about their health and safety.

Naloxone (Narcan)

NARCAN® Nasal Spray is a treatment designed to rapidly reverse the effects of a life-threatening opioid emergency.

Fentanyl Test Strips

FTS are a harm reduction strategy designed to reduce the negative consequences of drug use, including the risk of fatal and nonfatal overdose.

Plan B Step One

An FDA-approved emergency contraception pill that you take within 72‑hours after unprotected sex.

It is NOT an abortion pill & will not harm an existing pregnancy.

CPR Response Kit

A CPR response kit contains nitrile gloves for safety and a CPR face shield for delivering rescue breaths without direct contact.
